Snippets: Salary expectations

This is part of a series of articles to make your job hunting experience more meaningful with JobStreet.com.

Salary expectations are not just based on paper qualification alone. The years of on-the-job experience counts a lot too. For example, a position may require a bachelor degree with two to three years of work experience but employers may decide eventually to employ a diploma holder with five years of relevant work experience and expertise. So, the salary you want has to be equal to your experience too. Paper qualification doesn’t always guarantee quality of work.
